Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the RideAlong application or website ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and RideAlong Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("RideAlong", "we", "us").

You may use RideAlong only if:

• You are at least 18 years of age and hold a valid motorcycle driving licence.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
• You are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

By using RideAlong, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@ridealong.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Create false, misleading, or fraudulent rides or profiles.
• Harass, intimidate, or threaten other users.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or in violation of any law.
• Use the Platform to collect data about other users without consent.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Violate any applicable Indian laws including the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

RideAlong is a discovery and coordination platform. We do not organise rides ourselves and are not responsible for the conduct of individual organizers or participants.

RideAlong is not responsible for the safety or outcomes of any ride. By joining or organising a ride, you acknowledge that:

• Motorcycle riding carries inherent risks including injury and death.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy and insured.
• You must hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle you ride.
• You must wear appropriate safety gear including a BIS-certified helmet.
• Ride organizers are independent individuals, not RideAlong employees or agents.
• RideAlong makes no representations about the safety, accuracy, or legality of any ride.

Participation in any ride listed on RideAlong is entirely at your own risk. RideAlong strongly recommends that you maintain adequate health and accident insurance.

• Premium subscriptions are billed at ₹29/month (Indian Rupees) after the free trial period.
• A 3-month free trial is available to new users. No charge is made during the trial.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice.

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, ride descriptions, comments). By posting content, you grant RideAlong a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the Platform and for promotional purposes.

You are solely responsible for your content. RideAlong may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

All intellectual property in the RideAlong Platform — including the name, logo, design, software, and original content — is owned by or licensed to RideAlong Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDEALONG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RIDEALONG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY RIDE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO RIDEALONG IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt resolution by contacting our support team at legal@ridealong.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page or app Settings. Upon termination, your licence to use the Platform ends immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification and email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
